For Prestigious Family Business Award

PALATINE, IL-Cybersearch, Ltd. has been nominated for the 2007 Illinois Family Business of the Year Award, presented annually by the Loyola University Chicago Family Business Center and Harris Bank.

The award honors the positive contributions of family-owned businesses in their communities, and is given to companies with a strong commitment to both business and family.  In addition to business success, nominees must demonstrate positive family/business linkage, multi-generational business involvement, contributions to industry and community, and innovative business practices and strategies.

“We are greatly honored to be nominated for the Illinois Family Business of the Year Award,” says Cybersearch Executive Vice President Craig Sherwood, who founded the company with family members in 1996.  “For the past 11 years, our goal has been to provide clients with a competitive advantage through the use of information technology.  Being recognized by Loyola and Harris for our success is truly humbling.”     

The Family Business Center will announce the 2007 Illinois family Business of the Year Award winner in October.
