Sr. Confluent Kafka Engineer

We are looking for SME’s who have deep understanding of the Kafka platform/product. Many of the profiles have some experience in using Kafka on the Application side, but no exposure on the actual platform/product/admin. Other profiles had limited Kafka knowledge performing a POC or had recently completed some trainings.
Role Description: (Kafka)
- Upgrade/maintenance of Confluent Kafka platform from current version to latest release.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka Brokers and understanding of underlying functionality.
- Hands-on experience with Schema Registry and understanding of underlying functionality.
- Hands-on experience with KSQL DB and understanding of underlying implementation and functionality.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka connectors and understanding of underlying implementation and functionality.
- Good understanding of Kafka client (Producer and consumer) functionality.
- Collaborate among development teams, product Managers, operations teams and architect groups.
- Ability to design and implement technical solutions for the Kafka On-prem and Confluent Cloud platform.
- Provide support to Client’s application teams to migrate application integrations from Tibco EMS platform to Kafka platform.
- Understanding of AWS cloud to support confluent Kafka on cloud
