Pharmacy SME
Location:
Professional that is the source of knowledge, technique, or expertise in a specific subject area. The SME functions as the organizational ambassador for his/her knowledge area, and he/she applies his/her expertise to support an organization’s vision and strategic direction.
- Need a Pharmacy SME to assess and implement cost reduction opportunities in the pharmacy space.
- Needs to understand pharmaceutical drugs and products and be able to speak with clinicians, including pharmacists.
Skills/Experience:
- Understanding of pharmaceutical drugs and products
- Assess cost reduction opportunities in the pharmacy space
- Review pharmacy contracts and spend
- Benchmark pricing
- Recommend better pricing and cost reduction solutions
- Assess pharmacy programs and any opportunity for cost reduction (or revenue enhancement
- Collaborate with client pharmacy department including pharmacists
- Implement savings opportunities to achieve realized savings
