Process Facilitator – Finance Process Optimization (Hybrid, 3 days onsite)
Location: Baltimore, MD 21201
Length: 9 month contract (potential extension)
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Process Facilitator to support large scale Finance Process Optimization initiatives. This role will focus on leading process mapping workshops, documenting end to end workflows, and helping stakeholders identify opportunities for process improvement across global finance teams.
The ideal candidate will be skilled at facilitating workshops, translating complex finance processes into visual process maps, and driving alignment among cross functional stakeholders. This role will work closely with process optimization leaders, subject matter experts, and delivery teams to ensure process redesign efforts translate into actionable outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Process Mapping & Facilitation

Lead and facilitate process mapping and optimization workshops in virtual, hybrid, and in person environments.

Guide stakeholders through end to end finance process documentation and redesign activities.

Create and maintain current state and future state process maps using firm approved process mapping tools.

Translate complex finance workflows into clear visual process documentation.
Stakeholder Collaboration

Drive stakeholder engagement, alignment, and decision making during workshops and process discussions.

Partner with process optimization leads, finance subject matter experts, and transformation teams to ensure outputs are execution ready.

Facilitate conversations that identify inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for process improvements.
Process Optimization

Support initiatives focused on finance transformation and operational efficiency improvements.

Help teams identify process improvement opportunities and redesign workflows to improve performance and scalability.

Ensure outputs from workshops and process mapping activities are clear, structured, and actionable.
Required Qualifications:

8+ years of experience in process improvement, operational excellence, or business process optimization roles.

Proven experience facilitating process mapping workshops with cross functional teams.

Experience supporting Finance transformation or finance process optimization initiatives.

Hands on experience with SAP Signavio and Microsoft Visio.

Experience using BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) for process mapping.

Strong virtual facilitation skills, particularly with global and senior stakeholders.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.

Ability to translate complex processes into clear visual documentation and actionable insights.
