AI/ML Engineer – Agentic AI & Azure Cloud (Hybrid, must be local)
Woodland Hills, CA
Length: 7 month contract (potential extension)
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AI/ML Engineer with deep expertise in Agentic AI architectures, AI/ML engineering, and Azure cloud technologies. This individual will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying next-generation AI solutions leveraging Agentic Layer A2A frameworks, MCP Protocol, vector databases, and cloud-native architectures.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Agentic AI solutions utilizing Agentic Layer A2A frameworks and MCP Protocol.
- Develop and optimize AI/ML applications leveraging vector embeddings, prompt engineering, and context engineering techniques.
- Architect and deploy scalable AI solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- Design and manage Azure Functions, Azure Container Apps, and other cloud-native services.
- Build and maintain retrieval systems using Azure AI Search, Redis, Cosmos DB, and related technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define AI solution architectures and technical roadmaps.
- Develop APIs, integrations, and services using Python, Java, and/or Go.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field required.5 – Data Science – Agentic Layer A2A frameworks and MCP Protocol
- 3+ – AI/ML engineering, specifically vector embeddings, prompt engineering, and context engineering
- 3+ – programming skills in at least two of the following: Python, Java, Go. Proficiency in deploying solutions on Azure Cloud
- 3+ – databases such as Azure AI Search, Redis, and Cosmos DB
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within healthcare, healthcare technology, or regulated industries.
- Experience developing enterprise AI platforms and intelligent automation solutions.
- Familiarity with modern MLOps practices and AI governance frameworks.
- Experience leading technical design discussions and mentoring engineering teams.
