Central Supply Assistant (Onsite) (7 open roles)

Shift:

• 7:00am – 3:30 pm (rotating weekends)

Overview:
A Central Supply Assistant has the task of ensuring that items in a stock room are transferred to the appropriate location within our organization so that floor inventory can remain strong. Responsible for receiving merchandise, unloading or unpacking it, marking it with codes to be identified, stocking shelves, and helping customers place orders.

Responsibilities:

•Daily Replenishment and order confirmation

•Successfully troubleshoot issues regarding purchase orders, receipts, product loaners, credits, substitutes and stock outs

•Assists with transferring large packages to their vehicles.

•Counts and stores items to help maintain an adequate inventory.

•Ensures that supplies are stored in an orderly manner and is easily accessible when store shelves need to be replenished.

•Inspects new stock for damages or defects and goes through the proper channels to have the stock returned.

•Labels stock for identification purposes.

•Keeps detailed records of supplies that is in and out of stock as well as maintains reports for supervisors.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma required

•Ability to lift up to 40 lbs

•Has strong computer and technology skills.

•Pays close attention to detail.

•Possesses excellent organizational and time-management skills.

•Has the ability to effectively multi-task.

• Communication skills

•Demonstrates the ability to work independently with little direct supervision.

•Possesses the ability to lift heavy boxes and other items when receiving inventory and restocking shelves.

•Has the capability of learning to operate equipment, such as a fork lift, to assist in stocking merchandise.

•Demonstrates strong customer service skills.
