Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Director of Product Development with expertise in Azure to lead the transformation of our company and modernize our technology and tools. Our company is a leading independent provider of maintenance support and financial services to the business aviation industry, offering Hourly Cost Maintenance (HCM) Programs to manage the costs of operating various aircraft, engines and auxiliary power units.

The Director of Product Development will be responsible for leading, developing, and executing the strategy and technology roadmap for our NextGen technology platform, utilizing Azure as a key technology solution. This critical role requires strong technical skills, as the successful candidate will guide our team and external partners in the development and implementation of new technology solutions utilizing Azure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of the NextGen technology platform strategy and technology roadmap utilizing Azure
• Collaborate with the internal team and external partners to define and implement new technology solutions utilizing Azure
• Guide and mentor the technical team in the implementation of new technologies and tools, including Azure
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology, including Azure
• Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure technology solutions utilizing Azure meet business needs and goals

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
• Proven experience as a Director of Product Development or a similar leadership role in technology
• Strong technical skills with experience in developing and implementing technology solutions, including Azure
• Strong knowledge and experience with Azure, including experience as a practitioner or enterprise architect
• Excellent leadership and mentorship skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology, including Azure
