LOCALS ONLY — Hybrid (possibly 1-2 days onsite) in New York, NY or Short Hills, NJ

Individual to be responsible for planning and hands-on performance testing of grants management application.

Skills:

• Individual to act as a subject matter expert in regard to 508 Accessibility Testing and best practices.
• Create a process for identifying potential compliance issues and documenting issues in user stories
• Pro-active testing for Section 508 compliance for functionality available to end-users

Qualifications for the 508 Accessibility Tester include:

• Knowledge of 508 accessibility testing techniques and remediation tools
• Hands-on experience with 508 tools such as JAWS, PAW, WAT, Ferret, Narrator, or Common Look, or others
• Web accessibility testing including Semi-automated scans, manual reviews, keyboard only, color sampling, and screen reader testing
• Experience with automation test tools such as Selenium (Java)
• Experience with Functional, Regression and Integration testing
• Experience implementing World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) WCAG specifications
• Hands-on knowledge of reading, understanding, and being the go-to resource for compliance with Section 508 Laws and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
