Network Engineer (L2)
Kentucky Locals Only/ Specifically Louisville Locals Preferred
12-month Contract

Qualifications:

• 3 years of advanced help desk/ or 1-2 years network engineering experience required
• CCNA and/or CCNP certification highly preferred.
• Some exposure to Palo Alto firewalls
• Network Deployment and Support: Cisco Catalyst Switches (IOS), Cisco Nexus 5K Switches (NX[1]OS), Cisco ISR routers (OSPF and/or BGP), VPLS, Palo Alto NGFWs, Aruba/HPE controller based Wireless Access Points, Infoblox DDI appliances, and automation is a plus.
• Networking Deployment and Support: IP Networks, routing, firewalls, monitoring, wireless, DHCP/DNS, hardware load balancing, high availability technologies and change control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting of various types of desktop and laptop computers
• Virus and malware detection, prevention and removal techniques
• Support the primary deployment engineer for configuration of Cisco IOS based switches and routers, Aruba/HPE wireless access points & controllers, Infoblox DDI (DHCP/DNS), and Palo Alto next generation firewalls, primarily in the branch office environment.
• Network Engineering support for Cisco NX-OS line of switches.
• Supporting infrastructure automation procedures and deployments.
