Associate Palo Alto /Z-Scaler Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Junior Palo Alto Engineer with expertise in Zscaler to join our team. In this role, you will play a part in maintaining and enhancing our network security infrastructure. You will work alongside senior engineers and gain hands-on experience in managing Palo Alto firewalls and Zscaler solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Firewall Configuration and Management: Configure, deploy, and manage Palo Alto firewall devices to protect our network infrastructure. Maintain firewall policies and rules to ensure network security.
  1. Zscaler Integration: Utilize your expertise in Zscaler to integrate and manage the cloud-based security platform, ensuring a secure and efficient web and application traffic flow.
  1. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve network security issues, including firewall and Zscaler-related problems. Investigate and mitigate security threats in collaboration with the security team.
  1. Network Monitoring: Implement and maintain network monitoring tools to proactively identify and respond to potential security breaches.
  1. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, policies, and procedures.
  1. Collaboration: Work closely with other IT and security team members to ensure seamless network operations and effective threat detection.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Palo Alto firewall administration and configuration.

  • Proficiency with Zscaler cloud-based security platform.

  • Knowledge of network security best practices and protocols.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Certifications such as Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSA) and Zscaler ZCP are a plus.
