Payroll Coordinator (Onsite, with potential for remote after a few weeks/months of training.

Shift:

  • Mon-Fri 8:30am -5pm 

Overview:
The Associate Payroll Specialist performs a wide variety of payroll, and expense reimbursement processing activities. Responsibilities include auditing expense reimbursement submissions, customer service, performing light payroll tasks, and data gathering/generating reports for various stakeholders. 

Responsibilities:

1. Assists supervisors and employees regarding applicable policies and procedures including payroll procedures, wage deductions, and expense reimbursements.
2. Research and analyze expense reimbursements for accurate and timely processing of payment.
3. Gathers information upon request for various payroll and expense requests.
4. Provide appropriate information and direction to employees as needed.
5. Ensures excellent customer service standards are followed and provided to internal and external customers.
6. Encourages teamwork through cooperative interactions with coworkers.
7. Assist employees with their self-service concerns using the equipment provided within the department.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year accounting or office experience.
• Experience in accounting/bookkeeping/General office experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Word; and Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated ability to work on many different activities while meeting deadlines.
• Ability to consistently and efficiently follow through on problems with other staff and customers.

Preferred Job Qualifications:
• Lawson experience.
