Sr. SAP PP/MES Architect (Fully onsite)
Location: Arlington, TX 76155
Length: 11 months (potential extension)

Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP PP/MES Architect to support complex manufacturing operations in an onsite role based in Arlington, TX. This is a senior-level consulting position requiring deep expertise in SAP PP, PEO, QM, and MES, with a strong focus on complex assembly manufacturing, data migration, and integration across SAP modules.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on configuration experience, the ability to translate business requirements into functional designs, and proven success guiding technical teams through implementation and data migration efforts in aerospace or complex manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead configuration and solution design for SAP PP / PEO / QM / MES modules.

• Support complex assembly manufacturing, including rework processes, rework from stock, and MRO scenarios.

• Drive PP–MM and PP–QM integrations across manufacturing and quality processes.

• Gather and analyze business requirements; create functional specifications and guide ABAP developers.

• Translate business needs into scalable SAP solutions and break requirements into buildable development components.

• Support Material Requirements Planning (MRP), project stock, and WBS-based manufacturing processes.

• Collaborate on PP–PS integration, including network orders, WBS elements, and cost integration points.

• Review and validate MBOMs, routings, serialization, and batch management configurations.

• Investigate, resolve, and validate data migration issues related to BOMs, routings, and orders through multiple test cycles.

• Review and test architectural decisions to ensure alignment with business processes and system configuration.

• Deliver results with a proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented mindset.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10–20+ years of experience as an SAP PP/MES consultant or architect.

• Hands-on expertise in SAP PP / PEO / QM configuration.

• Strong experience with PP-MM and PP-QM integration.

• 2–3+ full-cycle SAP implementation projects involving PP and QM.

• Deep knowledge of:

  • Material Master

  • Bill of Materials (BOM)

  • Routings (Plans)

  • Serialization & Batch Management

• Experience with data migration for master and transactional data from SAP or non-SAP systems using:

  • LTMC

  • LSMW

  • S/4HANA Data Migration Cockpit

• Strong understanding of complex assembly manufacturing environments.
