Senior Product Manager – SAP S/4HANA Finance (Hybrid, 3 days onsite)
Location: San Jose, CA 
Length: 6 month contract (potential extension)

Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager with deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and enterprise financial systems to join our Corporate Shared Services team. In this role, you will drive the vision and roadmap for financial applications and analytics platforms, partnering closely with finance, engineering, and operations teams to deliver scalable, innovative solutions that support business growth.

The ideal candidate brings a strong combination of financial systems expertise, product leadership, and strategic thinking, with the ability to guide products from concept through implementation and continuous optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap

• Serve as the subject matter expert for SAP S/4HANA financial applications and analytics platforms.

• Define and manage the product roadmap aligned with evolving business needs and long-term strategy.

• Identify and prioritize growth opportunities using data insights, customer feedback, competitive analysis, and industry best practices.

• Develop business cases and outline the projected impact of initiatives to inform roadmap prioritization.

Product Development & Lifecycle Management

• Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept and design through development, launch, and ongoing optimization.

• Write detailed product requirements, functional specifications, and user stories to support engineering and design teams.

• Partner with engineering, finance, operations, and analytics teams to deliver high-quality finance solutions.

• Ensure solutions meet business, financial, and technical requirements.

Financial Systems & Analytics

• Lead initiatives related to SAP S/4HANA Finance modules, including:

  • General Ledger (GL)

  • Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Accounts Receivable (AR)

  • FICA (with CC/CI)

  • Integration with Treasury modules

• Partner with analytics teams leveraging Databricks and other data platforms to drive insights and reporting capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience working with SAP S/4HANA Finance applications and systems.

• Strong background in SAP S/4HANA / ECC Finance, with experience integrating enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, and Databricks.

• Proven experience managing end-to-end product lifecycle, from development through launch and ongoing support.

• Hands-on experience implementing or managing:

  • SAP General Ledger

  • Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable

  • FICA modules

  • Treasury integrations

• Strong understanding of accounting standards, financial operations, and subscription-based business models.

• Ability to translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications for development teams.

• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to leverage multiple data sources to support strategic decisions.

• Experience delivering software product launches in complex enterprise environments.
