Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE Solution Architect (Power Platform & AI/Copilot) (Fully Remote)
Length: 4 month contract (potential extension)

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE Solution Architect with deep expertise in Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE), Power Platform, Azure Integration Services, and AI-powered business solutions. This role is responsible for designing scalable enterprise CRM solutions, providing technical leadership across implementation projects, supporting pre-sales initiatives, and driving innovation through Microsoft’s latest AI capabilities including Copilot, Copilot Studio, AI Builder, and Azure OpenAI.

The ideal candidate will possess 10+ years of enterprise application and CRM experience, including 4+ years architecting Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement solutions, with strong functional expertise across Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Field Service, and Customer Insights. This individual will partner with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and executive leadership to deliver enterprise-grade CRM solutions that align with Microsoft’s best practices.

Responsibilities: 

Solution Architecture & Design

• Define end-to-end solution architecture for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) implementations.
• Architect solutions across Dynamics 365 CE modules including:
  • Sales
  • Customer Service
  • Marketing
  • Field Service
  • Customer Insights
• Translate business requirements into scalable functional and technical solution designs while maximizing out-of-the-box Microsoft capabilities and minimizing unnecessary customizations.
• Lead solution envisioning sessions, fit-gap analysis, design workshops, and proof-of-concept demonstrations with business and technical stakeholders.
• Design enterprise data models, security models, workflows, business processes, user experiences, and governance strategies.
• Establish architecture standards aligned with Microsoft’s implementation methodologies and best practices.

Power Platform & AI Enablement

• Architect enterprise solutions utilizing:
  • Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven)
  • Power Automate
  • Power BI
  • Dataverse
• Design AI-powered business solutions using:
  • Microsoft Copilot
  • Copilot Studio
  • AI Builder
  • Azure OpenAI Services
• Enable intelligent automation, conversational AI, predictive insights, and natural language experiences within Dynamics 365.
• Design custom Copilot extensions and AI-driven business workflows to improve productivity and customer engagement.

Integration & Technical Leadership

• Design and oversee integrations between Dynamics 365 and enterprise applications using:
  • Azure Integration Services
  • Azure Functions
  • Logic Apps
  • Service Bus
  • REST APIs
  • Middleware platforms

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience implementing enterprise CRM or business application solutions.
• 4+ years of experience architecting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) solutions.
• Strong functional expertise across:
  • Dynamics 365 Sales
  • Customer Service
  • Marketing
  • Field Service
  • Customer Insights
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Power Platform:
  • Power Apps
  • Power Automate
  • Power BI
  • Dataverse
• Experience developing Dynamics 365 plugins, custom workflows, and Power Platform extensions.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Dataverse architecture.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 Portals and Copilot Studio (Power Virtual Agents).
• Experience integrating Dynamics 365 with Azure services and external enterprise applications.
• Working knowledge of:
  • Azure Active Directory (Azure AD)
  • OAuth
  • ADFS
  • Azure Functions
  • Logic Apps
  • REST APIs
