Patient Access Representative/Liasion (Fully Onsite)(2 open roles)

6 months (extension or perm placement)

Shift: 9:30am- 6pm (Mon-Fri)

Overview:

We are hiring two temporary Patient Liaisons to strengthen the patient and family experience at our hospital. You will be a visible, welcoming presence on the units, rounding with patients and families, resolving concerns in real time, and partnering with clinical teams to make every interaction count.

This role suits someone from guest relations, hospitality, customer service, or another patient-facing background who thrives on connecting with people and turning a difficult moment into a positive one.

Responsibilities: 

• Engaging with patients and families to check on their experience and needs.
• Identify service recovery opportunities and address concerns promptly and respectfully.

• Document patient interactions, concerns, and resolutions according to hospital procedures.

• Escalate concerns to nursing leadership, department managers, or patient experience leadership when appropriate.
• De-escalate tense or emotional situations with calm, empathetic communication.
• Partner with clinical teams to share patient feedback and support a coordinated response.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma required & 1+years exp.
• Experience in guest relations, hospitality, customer service, or a patient-facing role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service instincts and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
