NOC Engineer

Position Responsibilities
-
Provide infrastructure and application infrastructure operations support, including configuration, deployment and troubleshooting enterprise-wide technologies.

Utilize monitoring tools and processes required to support server, network and application infrastructure.

Perform routine adds, moves and changes for network ports and VLANs.

Participate in IT incident, change, problem management and disaster recovery processes.
-
Understand emerging and current technology and identify solutions to meet business needs.

Solve problems, determine appropriate actions and complete planned activities with minimal direction.

Collect necessary information and escalate as needed.
Minimum Requirements
-
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
-
3+ years experience providing NOC support in a complex data center environment.
-
Experience with Cisco-centric WAN, LAN, and wireless infrastructure.
-
Knowledge of IBM and HP servers, VMWare and EMC storage a plus.
-
Knowledge of network load balancing, remote access and emerging SD-WAN technologies.
-
CCNA certification a plus.
-
Strong team player with excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills.
