NOC Engineer
Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI
Length: 9 months

Position Responsibilities

• Provide infrastructure and application infrastructure operations support, including configuration, deployment and troubleshooting enterprise-wide technologies.

• Utilize monitoring tools and processes required to support server, network and application infrastructure.

• Perform routine adds, moves and changes for network ports and VLANs.

• Participate in IT incident, change, problem management and disaster recovery processes.

• Understand emerging and current technology and identify solutions to meet business needs.

• Solve problems, determine appropriate actions and complete planned activities with minimal direction.

• Collect necessary information and escalate as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

• 3+ years experience providing NOC support in a complex data center environment.

• Experience with Cisco-centric WAN, LAN, and wireless infrastructure.

• Knowledge of IBM and HP servers, VMWare and EMC storage a plus.

• Knowledge of network load balancing, remote access and emerging SD-WAN technologies. 

• CCNA certification a plus.

• Strong team player with excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills.
