  • Scheduling, managing and coordinating releases across multiple applications within various portfolios across different teams and projects.
  • Constructing a release calendar for the different projects to have a centralized view of all releases.
  • Planning release windows and the overall release lifecycle.
  • Monitoring the release process and collecting feedback from the different teams.
  • Making improvements on a regular basis to the release process.
  • Schedule the release readiness reviews before deployment and milestone reviews after each release.
  • Lead the Go-Live activities to deploy the software successfully.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple teams to ensure tasks are completed in time with the release schedule.
  • Schedule the CAB meetings to discuss the release schedules with the team and find roadblocks, if any.
  • Keeping track of existing technology versions of all software used across different solutions in managed service including both PROD and No-PROD.
  • Maintaining a release calendar of all software already deployed, grouped by Clients and Environments.
  • Maintaining a release calendar of all software in the build phase with the planned release date, grouped by Clients and Environment.
  • Maintaining a map of software to environment and clients.
  • Track schedules for clients in relation to the software release to their environment aligning with SOW. This will include promised deliverables, commitments, bug fix schedules, release cadence, and any client-specific moratoriums.
  • Keep track of all version releases/upgrades and their impact on client deliverables and existing functionality.
  • Voice and call out release version and schedule impact analysis and give inputs regarding combining features vs excluding ones that can have a high impact or are not relevant.
  • Communicate between implementation teams to coordinate releases.
  • Identify the risks that can delay the release and manage them, such that the scope scheduled, and quality of the release are not affected.
  • Track the progress and find issues, if any. Always work to improve the process of release.
  • Schedule the release readiness reviews before deployment and milestone reviews after each release.
  • Represent the Solution in Change Advisory Board Meeting.
  • Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule, and quality.
  • Weekly Release Reporting.
  • Work with release engineers to understand the impacts of branches and code merges.
  • Continually work towards making improvements in the release process.
  • Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews.
  • Communicate release details and schedules to the Business as required.
  • Maintains the release schedule for all core services and ensures alignment across key partners and vendors.
  • Maintains a release repository and manages key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification list

Required:

  • Scheduling, managing and coordinating releases across multiple applications within various portfolios across different teams and projects.
  • Maintaining a release calendar of all software in the build phase with the planned release date, grouped by Clients and Environment.
  • Keeping track of existing technology versions of all software used across different solutions in managed service including both PROD and No-PROD.
  • 2-6 years of the previous release and/or project management experience, (A solid understanding of project management principles preferred).
  • 8-10 years of experience in information systems operations environment in systems analysis or development
  • Formal training in project management practices is preferred.
    Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion.
  • Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills.
    Advanced written and verbal communication skills are a must.
